It is with deepest sympathy we announce the passing of Mr. John A Watkins, Sr., 93, who departed this life on December 6, 2005, at his home in Maple Hill, North Carolina. Mr. Watkins was a dedicated truck driver, a loving husband, and the proud father of six children: Cheryl W. Hayes, John A. Watkins, Jr., Clifton R. Watkins, Jim Watkins, Reginald T. Watkins, and David A. Watkins. He was also a cherished grandfather, brother, and friend whose life touched many.

ALL Public viewing will be held on Saturday, December 13, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, located at 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on Sunday, December 14, at 2:00 PM at St. Paul Holy Church, located at 1266 Webbtown Road, Maple Hill, North Carolina 28454.

Interment will follow immediately at Maple Hill Community Cemetery in Maple Hill, North Carolina.
