Yolanda Patrice Shepard McIlwaine, 50, of Charlotte, NC, transitioned to her eternal home on June 5, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Darron McIlwaine and devoted mother to Khiry Sidbury and Daeysha McIlwaine and Grandmother to Khiry Sidbury, Jr.

Yolanda will be remembered for her kind gestures, delicious home-cooked meals, and cherished shopping trips. Her warmth and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving behind a host of relatives and friends who will forever treasure her presence.

A Celebration of Life service will take place on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Union Bethel A.M.E, 20676 U.S. highway 17 N, Hampstead, NC 28443.

A public visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Sealawn Memorial Park in Hampstead, NC.
