Ms. Vernell Jacobs White, 68, of Holly Ridge, NC, passed away peacefully on November 20,2025 at Onslow Memorial Hospital, with family by her side.

She was born on June 16, 1957 in Wilmington NC to the late Geneva Reynolds. Vernell Jacobs White graduated from Topsail High School and worked as a line worker for over 20 years. A passionate mother and grandmother. She was also known for her straight forwardness.

Vernell Jacobs White is survived by her two sons, Kendrick Jacobs (Cordelia) and Kirby White Jr (Emily); Brother Marvin Jacobs and sister RoseMary Hargrett; and three grandchildren Eva Rogers, Kirby White III and Nathanial Moczo; A host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister Sandra Kaye Sidbury.

During the 10:00 o'clock hour a public visitation will take place at the Dunn Funeral Home Chapel located at 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425.

A Celebration of her life will be held at Dunn Funeral Home, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 am.
