Mrs. Valdese A. Carr Lockett , formerly of Burgaw transitioned peacefully on Friday February 18, 2022. She was the wife of SGM(Ret) Anthony Lockett and mother of (2) loving children.

A Celebration of her life will take place on Saturday March 12, 2022 at 3:00p.m. at Miracle Temple Deliverance Ministries - 401 N. Wright Street Burgaw, NC 28425. Apostle Amanda Walker Bryant, Pastor.

Floral Arrangements are welcomed and can be ordered/purchased through Due Seasons Florist of Burgaw. Please note they will deliver arrangements directly to the church (2) hours prior to the service.

A repast will be immediately following the service where the family will receive friends and classmates.

Mrs. Lockett will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
