Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services sadly announces the passing of Mr. Val Arturo Henry, who departed this life peacefully on June 30, 2025.

Mr. Henry was born in April 1952 in Colón, Panama, and at the age of two, he immigrated to the United States in December 1954 with his beloved parents, Earl and Esther Henry.

A memorial service celebrating Mr. Henry's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, located at 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425.

Following the service, burial will take place at the Keith Family Cemetery in Currie, NC.

In Honor of His Legacy

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the Val A. Henry Legacy Scholarship Fund. This scholarship will provide children with books, backpacks, and essential school supplies, reflecting Val's unwavering belief in the power of education.
