Obituary for Thurman Dudley

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thurman Dudley, who was born on October 23, 1948, and left us on February 17, 2025, at Novant Health Pender Memorial Center in Burgaw, NC. Thurman was a man of great kindness and resilience, touching the lives of all who knew him. As an Army veteran, he served with dedication, and his courageous spirit extended throughout his life, inspiring all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Thurman was a loving father to his son, Brandon Dudley, and a cherished friend to many. His legacy of compassion, integrity, and strength will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the Middle District Missionary Baptist Association, located at 1821 NC-53, Burgaw, NC, 28425.

Visitation will take place Friday February 28, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, located at 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC, 28425.

Thurman leaves behind a host of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory. Our thoughts are with his loved ones during this difficult time. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength.
