Terry Lee Pullens, Jr., born on July 28, 1963, in Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on June 14, 2026, at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice LifeCare Center in Wilmington, North Carolina. He was a devoted family man whose presence touched the lives of many.
Terry is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Martin-Pullens; his children, Rodney J. Martin and his wife Brittney, Terry Lee Pullen III and his wife Janay, Miracle Dixon, Reverend Rakeim J. Martin and his wife Crystal, and Rochelle Irene Dunn. His legacy continues through his grandchildren Ja'Myiah, Daysha, Shannon, Janaya, Kristopher, Xavier, Zion, Sydney, Moriah, Madison, Andrew, and Alex, as well as his great-grandchild Avaya. He was also cherished by his adopted brothers Bobby Nichols and his wife Shelia, and Sam Ishmel, alongside a host of relatives and friends who held him in high regard.
A celebration of Terry’s life is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church, located at 581 Trestle Road, Ivanhoe, North Carolina. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing and visitation on Sunday, June 21, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, North Carolina.
Terry was passionate about his favorite sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys football team and Duke basketball. He enjoyed grilling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with his grandchildren. Above all, family held a central place in his heart and life, and he cherished every moment with them.
Terry Lee Pullens, Jr.’s life will be remembered for his dedication to family, his warm spirit, and the joy he found in simple pleasures shared with loved ones. His memory will undoubtedly continue to inspire and comfort those who knew him.
**The Family will be receiving family and guest beginning Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm daily at the residence. Please be mindful and respectful of the time established by the family.**
