It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Tammy Bordeaux Jones. She peacefully transitioned on Monday, August 25, 2025, at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Tammy will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and the love she shared with those around her.

Those left to cherish her loving memories are: her mother, Rosetta Bordeaux; husband, Joseph Earl Jones; children, Shannon Redd, Carlton Redd, Jr., Katrina Jones and Joseph Earl Jones, Jr., grandchildren, Jessiah Jackson, Xavier Waddell Malaiah Bell, Isiah Bell and Zariah Waddell; brother Horace Bordeaux and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will take place 1:00pm Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Middle District Baptist Association 1821 NC Highway 53, Burgaw, NC 28425

Interment will follow in Lucy's Memorial Garden 4411 Blue Banks Loop Road Leland, NC 28451.

Viewing for relatives and friends will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 during the hours of 6:00pm-8:00pm at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.

During this time of sorrow, may we find comfort in knowing that Tammy's journey continues in peace and light. Let us hold close the memories she gifted us, and honor her by living with the same compassion and grace that she shared so freely.
