Mrs. Sophia Redd Nixon, age 81 of Hampstead, North Carolina peacefully laid down the burdens of this world on Friday, July 29, 2022 while in the comfort of her home.
Home going celebration service will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Union Bethel A.M.E. Church 11 Union Bethel Road, Hampstead, NC 28443. Interment will immediately follow in the Woodside Community Cemetery, Hampstead.
Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 11:00am to 11:50am Wednesday, August 3, 2022 prior to the homegoing service.
