Siegfried Jose Behal, fondly known as "Candyman," passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at his residence. Born on December 7, 1942, in the Dominican Republic, Siegfried lived a life that embodied generosity and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.

Siegfried was a remarkable individual who was celebrated for his unwavering willingness to share. Holding the affectionate nickname "Candyman," he was known for always carrying candy, ready to share a sweet treat and a smile with those around him. His warm personality made everyone feel welcomed, and he never met a stranger. A hardworking man, Siegfried dedicated himself to providing for his family and showed deep care and love for them throughout his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen Behal, and his cherished children: Andre, Cynthia, and Carlos Behal. His legacy continues through his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who carry forward the values of kindness and warmth that Siegfried exemplified.

A visitation to honor Siegfried's life will be held at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, located at 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425, on January 15, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
