Mrs. Shirley Mae Walker , age 84, of Currie, NC entered into celestial peace on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.

A celebration of her life and legacy will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will follow in The Carr Cemetery located in Burgaw, NC.

A walk through viewing with no sitting, lingering, or gathering will take place 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, January 8, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

Please be mindful of the Governor's Executive Order limiting gatherings. For our safety and yours no more than 50 people will be allowed inside our facility at all times . We will be expecting EVERYONE entering our facility to comply with the order, Wear a Face Covering and practice social distancing.
