Shirley Hines Brown, beloved resident of Riegelwood, NC, peacefully passed away at the age of 73 on October 7, 2026, in Fayetteville, NC. 

A heartfelt celebration of her life will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Graham Chapel AME Zion Church, Riegelwood. Shirley will be laid to rest in the church cemetery that holds cherished memories of her community and faith.

A viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, October 16, 2026, at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Burgaw, NC. 

The family will also welcome visitors from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM starting Monday, October 13, at the home of her brother, Bobby Hines. Shirley's life touched many, and she will be fondly remembered and deeply missed.
