Ms. Shantell Simone Smith, age 24 of Currie, NC accepted her new journey of eternal life on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington surrounded by her family.

Shantell is survived by her parents, James and Pamela Smith; grandparents, Ronnie Henry and Ruth Smith and a multitude of family and friends.

Celebration of Life will take place 2:00pm Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Rosa Green Missionary Baptist Church Highway 11 Currie, NC.

Interment will immediately follow in the Rosa Green Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Walk through viewing will be held 4:00pm to 6:00pm Monday, September 2, 2024 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
