Mr. Santiago Garcia Monserrate, age 61 affectionately known to many as "Chago", peacefully transition from labor to reward on Thursday, February 16, 2023 in the comfort of his residence with his family at his side. He is the husband of Mrs. Gwendolyn Lee Monserrate.

Celebration of an amazing life service will be held 1:00pm Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Isaac James Cemetery, Andermore Road Maple Hill, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Dunn Funeral Home.

The family is asking to please limit the visits to the home due to COVID. They will be receiving at Dunn Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2023.
