Mrs. Rutha Mae Holmes McKoy , age 85, of Maple Hill, at the summons of Almighty God peacefully crossed from this walk of life into life everlasting on Monday, Decemeber 4, 2023 while at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carleen Trosclair in Jacksonville, NC.

Visitation and Viewing for relatives and friends will take place 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

The Homegoing Celebration, celebrating a life well lived, will convene at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at St. James United Holy Church located in Maple Hill, North Carolina. Interment will immediately follow in the Lisane Cemetery located in Maple Hill, NC.
