Mrs. Ruth Aleane Newton, age 87 peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, May 5, 2024 Vidant Medical Center Kenansville, NC.

Mrs. Ruth is survived by her children; Carl Newton, Mary Newton, Carla Newton, Patricia Johnson and Joyce Newton and a host of relatives and friends.

Homegoing Celebration will be held 2:00pm Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Roseville Missionary Baptist Church 2870 Wilmington Hwy, Willard, NC 28478. Interment will follow in the Newton Family Cemetery Willard, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, May 17, 2024 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
