Mr. Russell Pickett , age 84, of Chinquapin, gently transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, August 31, 2023 while in the comfort of his residence. He is the husband of Mrs. Geneva Pickett.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023 at St. Lewis Missionary Baptist Church located on Pickett Bay Road in Chinquapin, North Carolina. Interment will immediately follow in the Batts Cemetery located in Chinquapin, North Carolina.

Public Viewing and Visitation for friends and family will take place during the hours of 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. On Saturday, September 2, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
