Mr. Rudolph "Rudy" Sidberry, 70, of Wilmington, passed from this life early Saturday morning, April 20, 2013 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington.

"Rudy" was born on Febuary 22, 1943 in Pender County to the late John Henry Sidberry and Everlena Foy Sidberry. In 1965, he was drafted into the US Army. In 1968, he became apart of the New York Police Department and retired in 1983 as a detective.

The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Friday, April 26, 2013 at Union Missionary Baptist Church, Wilmington. Burial will be in the Sidberry Cemetery, Rocky Point.
