Rose D. McAllister, age 77, of Currie, NC, quietly placed her hand in the Master's and joined the heavenly host on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Liberty Commons Nursing Facility in Wilmington, NC.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Timothy McAllister (Crystal); beloved grandchildren, Tanyah McAllister, Timothy McAllister Jr., Ariel Nixon, and Kimani McAllister; a special niece who was like a daughter, Paula Beatty; loving sisters, Lillie Newkirk and Alice Mae Spearman; and a host of relatives and friends.

Her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will be dearly remembered by all who knew her.

Homegoing Service will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.

Interment will follow at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Burgaw, NC.

ALL Viewing will be held prior to the 12noon service on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel.
