Rosa Lee Johnson of Burgaw, North Carolina, born March 19, 1956, transitioned from this life on July 27, 2025, at Novant Health Pender Memorial Hospital in Burgaw. Known for her loving and caring spirit, Rosa was the devoted mother of Ethan Murphy and Nikkenta "Nikki" Murphy. She was also a cherished sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of Rosa's life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, located at 312 N Wright Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.

Family and friends are invited to a public visitation on Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, North Carolina. As well as on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 2:50 p.m. at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.

The family is kindly requesting that all flower gifts be in the form of potted plants, so they may cherish them in the days, weeks, and years to come as living tributes to Rosa's memory.
