Obituary

Robin Lynette Stanton, a cherished soul with an outgoing personality and a heart full of kindness, passed away on December 13, 2025, at Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation of Wilmington, North Carolina. Born on December 10, 1956, in East Meadow, New York, Robin devoted her life to lifting the spirits of those around her, bringing smiles to countless faces through her warmth and generosity.

For over 20 years, Robin was a faithful member of Christ First Christian Ministry, where she found a sense of community and purpose under the guidance of Pastor Elder Charles F. Winley, Sr. Her passion for helping others reflected the very essence of her character, and she will be remembered as a beacon of light in the lives she touched.

Among her many interests was a profound love for cooking. Robin dreamed of starting her own catering business, inspired by her passion to create delightful experiences for others through food. Though that dream remained unrealized, her culinary skills were a source of joy for family and friends alike, as they savored the numerous meals she prepared with love.

Robin is survived by her beloved mother, Hester Danzy Norman, seven siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews who all carry forward her legacy of joy and compassion. She is also remembered fondly by a special friend, First Lady Mamie Winley, and her family, who embraced Robin like one of their own and cherished the laughter and love they shared.

Robin was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Stanton, whose memory remains forever etched in the hearts of those who knew their love story.

As we celebrate Robin's life, we remember not just her joyous spirit, but also the profound impact she had on all who crossed her path. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, as they continue to share stories of her kindness, laughter, and unwavering support for others. Robin Lynette Stanton may have left this world, but her spirit and the love she gave will eternally resonate in the hearts of all who loved her.
