Mr. Ricky Allen Shepard, 64, of Hampstead, NC, peacefully transitioned on December 4, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering devotion that will forever be cherished by his children Ricky James, Sr., Kai Turner-Shepard, Brandon Wilson, and Shameka Sidbury as well as a host of family and friends. Ricky was a man of deep passion, known for the joy he found in caring for his beloved dogs, his love of cooking, his enthusiasm for sports, and, above all, his profound dedication to his family.

A Memorial Service honoring his life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, 810 W. Wilmington St., Burgaw, NC.

In celebration of Ricky's favorite color, the family will be dressed in red, and they kindly request that any floral arrangements incorporate the color red in his remembrance. May his spirit continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who loved him.
