It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Richard Allen King, Sr., 78, of Rocky Point, NC, who left this world on January 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving wife, Ruth King, and family.

Richard was a proud Army veteran who served his country with honor. His dedication and commitment to his family, community, and country remain an enduring part of his legacy. He is deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves behind his four children: Richard Allen King, Jr., Randolph King, Tanya Fermin-Jones, and Rosalind Crawford. He also leaves behind a host of family, friends, and loved ones whose lives he touched with kindness, strength, and compassion.

A celebration of Richard's life will be held at Middle District Baptist Association 1821 NC Highway 53, Burgaw, NC 28425, on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 1:00 PM with a visitation during the hour of 12:00- 12:50 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects as we honor the life of a devoted husband, father, and friend.

May Richard Allen King, Sr. rest in peace and forever remembered by those he loved and who loved him.
