Mr. Richard Watkins, Jr. , age 74, of Maple Hill, laid down the burdens of this life and picked up eternal life on Saturday, February 11, 2023 while in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He is the husband of Mrs. Betty Harper Watkins.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Victory Deliverance Temple Church - 183 Ander Moore Road Maple Hill, NC 28454. Interment will immediately follow in the Pickett Cemetery located in Maple Hill, NC.

Public Viewing/Visitation for relatives and friends will be held 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
