Reverend James Reuben Hansley , age 76, of Hampstead peacefully laid down the burdens of this world and received his crown and long white robe he so often preached about on Saturday, December 4, 2021 while at the Lower Cape Fear Life Care Center of Wilmington, N.C.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Williams Love Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Hampstead, N.C.

Visitation and Viewing for Family and Friends will take place 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
