Ms. Reena Denise Beatty , age 59, of Currie, quietly entered into the eternal joy of the Lord on Friday, March 24, 2023 while at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, North Carolina. She is the mother of Mr. Stephen Beatty and the daughter of Mrs. Annie Lloyd Beatty and the late Mr. Robert L. Beatty.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 1:00p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at St. James A.M.E. Church located on Overlyon Road in Kelly, North Carolina. Interment will immediately follow in the Beatty Kealon Cemetery located on Jim McKoy Road in Kelly, North Carolina.

Public Viewing and Visitation for relatives and friends will be held 5:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
