Mother Queen Elnora Heyward age 89, of Willard, NC peacefully entered the pearly gates of glory on Monday, July 29, 2024 at the Laurels of Pender. Mother Elnora is survived by her children: James Heyward, Mary Ann Heyward, Ernest Heyward, Susan Heyward and Catherine Heyward; a special brother-in-law, William DeVeaux and a host of grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives and friends.

Homegoing celebration will take place 1:00pm Friday, August 9, 2024 at Willard Chapel Baptist Church 880 Church Street, Willard, NC 28478.

Interment will follow in the Willard Community Cemetery.

Viewing for relatives and friends will take place 5:00pm to 7:00pm Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
