Mr. Preston Jones, affectionately known as "Jig", age 88, of Rocky Point, quietly departed this life and joined Heaven's army on Sunday, October 23, 2022 while at The Laurels of Pender located in Burgaw, North Carolina.

A Homegoing Celebration will convene at 2:00p.m. on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Mt. Moriah AME Church - 13950 NC Highway 210, Rocky Point, NC 28457. Interment will immediately follow in the Smith-Moore Cemetery located in Rocky Point, NC.

Public Visitation for family and friends will take place during the hours of 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.
