Mrs. Pearl Sharpless Pickett , age 77, of the Maple Hill Community peacefully closed her eyes when she heard her Master's Call to leave this world of sadness to enter into a world of celestial peace on Friday, December 25, 2020 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center located in Wilmington, NC.

A Service of Celebration, Remembering Her Life, will take place at 12 Noon on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Maple Hill Community Cemetery of Maple Hill, NC.

Viewing for family and friends will be 5:00pm - 7:00pm on Friday, January 1, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425.

Mrs. Pearl Sharpless Pickett was the wife of the late Mr. Samuel D. Pickett, Jr. and mother of Rev. Angelia Yvette Hayes, Rev. Dr. Martin Pickett and the late Mr. Chauncey Pickett.
