Pauline C. Simpson Boykin, 82, of Currie, NC, peacefully transitioned on July 30, 2026, surrounded by love. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Juliet Boykin Powell and Dawn M. Boykin, along with her cherished grandchildren: Daryl W. Powell Jr, Darius Gray, Marquis Boykin, Javon D. Powell, Latavia Gray, Julius M. Powell, and Angel R. Boykin. Pauline leaves behind a large family including eleven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Pauline was renowned for her compassion and hospitality, providing comfort and nourishment to many. Her home was always open for a hearty country meal. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. Pauline was a devoted churchgoer, finding solace and joy in worship. 

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Moore's Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Currie, NC. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. 

Family and friends are welcome to a viewing during the hours of 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel in Burgaw, NC.

She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
