Patsy Lee Spencer, born Patsy Lee Miller on January 25, 1937, in the gentle countryside of Pender County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully in her home on August 14, 2026. Hers was a life stitched together by love, purpose, and warmth, a life that left enduring marks on everyone she met.

As a proud daughter of Pender County, Patsy cherished the rhythms of small-town life and its simple joys. Her journey through the world of healthcare as a dedicated CNA was marked by selfless devotion, tenderness, and strength. To those in her care, she was a comfort and an unfailing source of kindness, a light in trying times. Her colleagues and patients recall not just her gentle hands, but her ability to bring love into every room she entered.

Outside work, Patsy embraced each day with curiosity and delight. She adored shopping, especially for clothes, her keen eye for style often bringing a touch of color and joy wherever she went. Those close to her could always count on her laughter and the sparkle in her eyes when she found something just right.

Her faith was a guiding force, and traveling with her church gave her happiness and community. In each new place, eager to explore and share, she gathered memories and friends, always guided by the spirit of compassion and belonging.

But if you asked Patsy what filled her heart most, it was family. She glowed with pride for her grandchildren and celebrated all their achievements, both great and small. Their joys and triumphs were her own proudest accomplishments, treasured above all else.

What truly defined Patsy was love. It radiated from her in everyday acts, soft words, and listening ear. It was the current that carried her through life and connected her to all whose lives she touched.

Visitation for Patsy Lee Spencer will take place on August 22, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425. Friends and family will gather to share memories and pay tribute to her life. A Celebration of Life will follow on August 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM, also at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

 The family sincerely appreciates all gestures of love and kindly requests that, in lieu of traditional floral arrangements, all floral tributes be presented as potted plants.

Though Patsy is no longer with us, the love and kindness she shared remain. Her memory, bright and enduring, will be cherished forever.
