In Loving Memory of Eldress Nancy Callie James (1949–2024)

Eldress Nancy Callie James, aged 75, of Maple Hill, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on September 25, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones at Novant Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elder James, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms on the other side.

Nancy leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and kindness. Her nurturing spirit touched the lives of many, and her memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. She was not just a mother, but a guiding light—a beacon of strength and compassion.

Survived by Her Children: Owen Jamar James, Joncier James, Jocelyn James and Yamaya Respus. As well as a host of family and friends whom adored her.

A public visitation will take place at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel Saturday October 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM
A celebration of Nancy's remarkable life will take place on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM. We invite you to join us at Victory Deliverance Temple, located at 183 Andermora Road in Maple Hill, NC. Together, we will honor her legacy, share stories, and find solace in our collective memories.

Following the service, we will gather at the Pickett Family Cemetery in Hwy 53 East, Maple Hill, NC, where Nancy will find her final resting place. It is there that we will lay her to rest, surrounded by the beauty of nature—a fitting tribute to a woman who cherished life's simple joys.
