Mr. Johnnie Douglas Jackson, Jr. passed away on September 29, 2026, in Burgaw, North Carolina. He was born on August 15, 1968, in Whiteville, North Carolina, and will be remembered as a man who embraced life and brought warmth to those around him.

Johnnie was known for enjoying life and for the generous spirit he shared so freely with others. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, a simple but lasting quality that spoke deeply to his character. His kindness and readiness to be there for others left an impression that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.

Above all, he treasured his family. He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Johnnie Jackson, III and Marquis Jackson. In addition to his children, he also leaves behind grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and many friends who will miss his presence and hold close the memories they shared with him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on October 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, North Carolina 28425. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., also at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Burgaw.
