Mr. Mitchell Lee Murphy, Jr., age 57 of Burgaw, NC quietly slipped into eternal sleep Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center Wilmington, NC. He is the husband of Mrs. Jacqueline Murphy and father of Dion Herring and Mitchetta Murphy.

Homegoing celebration will take place 1:00pm Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Moore's Creek Missionary Baptist Church 60 Minuteman Road Currie, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 5:00pm to 7:00pm Friday, November 24, 2023 at Point Caswell Missionary Baptist Church 4030 Point Caswell Road, Atkinson, NC.
