Minnie Kea Jordan, born on June 28, 1959, entered eternal rest on January 23, 2026. She was a remarkable individual whose life was characterized by love, kindness, and a deep commitment to family and community.
As the devoted wife of Pastor Willie Jordan, she shared her life and love with him, supporting his ministry and collaborating in nurturing their family. Minnie was a proud mother to her three children, Willie Sherman Jordan, Jr., Mia Carney, and Julian Jordan, each carrying forward the legacy of love and strength she instilled in them. Her warm and caring nature extended beyond her immediate family, as she is also survived by her many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, who cherished her deeply.
Minnie was known for her loving spirit and caring heart. She had a passion for crocheting and enjoyed word puzzles, activities that reflected her creative mind and her desire to engage with the world around her. Her strong spirit and generous nature endeared her to everyone she met; she truly never met a stranger and many found comfort in her presence.
She is survived by her siblings: Thomas Keith, Apostle Joyce Lawrence, LaVarne Spencer, Lula K. Crawford, Gardenia Farrior, Leon Kea, and Jean Williams, each left with cherished memories of their time together.
A homegoing celebration to honor Minnie's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at the Middle District Baptist Association, located at Highway 53 West, Burgaw, NC 28425. Following the service, interment will take place at Lewis Hayes Cemetery in Currie, NC.
Friends and loved ones are invited to remember and celebrate her life during a viewing hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM.
Minnie Kea Jordan will be remembered not only for her nurturing role within her family but also as the glue that held them all together, a beacon of love whose memory will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
