Mr. Matthew Hicks, Jr., age 83 formerly of the Ashton Community passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Funeral service will be 12noon Friday, April 10, 2020 at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 810 West Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will follow in the Pike Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Burgaw.

All Viewing will be 11:00am to 11:50am Friday, April 10, 2020 prior to the 12noon service at Dunn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Burgaw.

Please be mindful of Governor Roy Coopers Executive Order 121 limiting gathering to no more than 50. We also will be enforcing the order and practicing social distancing even for family members.
