Mrs. Mary Magdalene (Jamison) Tillery, daughter of the late Raleigh and Mary (Maloney) Jamison, was born in August 1941 in Colleton County. She respectfully received her wings on December 14, 2024, at home with her family.

Educated in South Carolina schools, Mrs. Mary moved to Washington, D.C., and then to Springfield, MA, where she met and united with Eddie Lee Tillery.

Mrs. Mary was an employee of USPS, Diamond Match, Springfield School Department, and a Home Health Aide. She served with ARISE, MADD, and Fort Hood. Known for her generosity, she would reach out to help anyone in need.

Mrs. Mary leaves to cherish her memory three children: Renee' J-Rose of Killeen, Texas; Wileen S. J-Keaton; and King Dante' Tillery of Springfield, MA. She is survived by her brother, Lafayette Jamison (Nadline) of Walterboro, NC; and three sisters, Patricia Bash and Herthadean Montgomey of Detroit, and Thelma L. Matthews. She is also remembered by her sons-in-law, Courtney R. and Michael M.; adopted daughters, Kathey M., Rebecca J., and Trisha D.; grandchildren, CJ and Marquel Rose, Whitney B-Keaton, Valencia Keaton, Portret K-Meadows, T. Taylor, Samara, and TyFari LaFrance; great-grandchild, Kiarah Tillery; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
