Mrs. Marjorie Hicks Alston , originally of Rocky Point, NC, peacefully laid down the burdens of this world and transcended to celestial peace on Sunday, August 22, 2021 while at Brookdale University Hospital located in Brooklyn, New York.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. Interment will immediately follow in the Sea Lawn Memorial Park located in Hampstead, NC.

Viewing for family and friends will take place 1:00p.m. - 1:50p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425 prior to the 2:00p.m. Homegoing Celebration.
