It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Lynwood Bagley, age 49, of Jacksonville, North Carolina. Lynwood passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and service.

"Wood" is survived by his wife, Ebony "Reese" Bagley; mother, Lynette Thompson; father, Robert L. Bagley, Sr; children, Tristian, Jabari, Jaquialm and Jyrah; granddaughter, Nalani a host of siblings and other relatives and friends.

Lynwood was a skilled barber, known for his precision, dedication, and the warmth he brought to everyone who sat in his chair. Beyond his profession, he was a devoted husband, a proud father, a caring uncle, and a loyal friend to many.

His presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew him. Whether sharing wisdom, telling a good story, or simply lending a listening ear, Lynwood made a lasting impact on countless lives.

Homegoing celebration service will be held 1:00pm August 8, 2025 at Chapel of Peace Church of God in Christ located at 414 Sound Road Holly Ridge, NC 28445.

Interment will immediately follow in the Walter Holmes Cemetery Maple Hill, NC.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held during the hours of 4:00pm to 6:00pm on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.

He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and the entire community he served so faithfully.

In Lieu of standing sprays, the family kindly requests potted plants or garden dishes as a way to honor Lynwood's life — a lasting tribute to the care and growth he brought into the world.
