Mrs. Luephemia (Phemia) Bannerman, of Rocky Point, entered into eternal rest on May 15, 2013 at her residence with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Bannerman, "Mook", as she was affectionately known, was born on May 21, 1941 to the late Lillie Jones0Smith and Vernell Ford. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and was consecrated in 1996 at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Brooklyn, New York. Professionally, she held careers in the healthcare industry with various managerial positions at Interfaith and Lutheran Medical Centers in Brooklyn, New York. Upon retirement, she relocated to Rocky Point, North Carolina and joined Pike Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral will be 2:30 p.m. May 19, 2013, at Pike Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Pike Creek Baptist Cemetery.
