Mrs. Lizzie Gore Mitchell , age 91, a retired educator, departed this life and entered into the eternal joy of the Lord on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, while at Novant Health Brunswick Medical Center located in Bolivia, North Carolina. She is the wife of Reverend Lonnie Mitchell, Sr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Big Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church - 405 Big Macedonia Rd NW, Supply, NC 28462. Interment will immediately follow in the Galloway Cemetery located in Supply, North Carolina.

Public Viewing and Visitation can be made Monday, May 23, 2022, during the hours of 3:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home - 810 W. Wilmington St. Burgaw, NC 28425. and on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 11:30a.m. - 12:50p.m. at Big Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church - 405 Big Macedonia Rd NW, Supply, NC 28462.
