Mrs. Lila Boykins Evans, age 95, formerly of the Rocky Point community, peacefully departed this life on July 14, 2025, at the Laurels of Pender in Burgaw, North Carolina. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert "Les" Evans and will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and enduring faith.

In cherished remembrance of her life, a funeral service will be held Friday, July 18, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Mariah A.M.E. Church, located at 13950 NC Hwy 210, Rocky Point, NC 28457.

Family and friends may pay their respects during a public viewing from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM, preceding the service.

Interment will follow at Burgaw Cemetery in Burgaw, North Carolina, where Mrs. Evans will be laid to rest in everlasting peace.
