MSG Leon G. Carr of Fayetteville, NC, formerly of Burgaw passed away on September 2, 2017 at the VA Medical Center Fayetteville, NC.
A visitation for relatives and friends will be 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Dunn Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 1:00pm Friday, September 8, 2017 at Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church, 312 North Wright Street Burgaw, NC. Final viewing will be 12:00 to 12:55pm . Interment with military honors will follow in the Burgaw Cemetery.
Locally friends and relatives are being received at the home of his sister Mr. And Mrs. Haywood (Alice) Pickett Hwy 117 North, Burgaw.
