Kenneth Ray Hayes, age 62, formerly of Rocky Point, NC, passed away on July 9, 2025, at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. He was the beloved son of Viney Hayes and Raymond Hayes, and a devoted father to Veronica Hayes, Amanda Hayes and Kenneth Hayes, Jr.

A Celebration of Life honoring Mr. Hayes will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 12:00 Noon at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel, located at 810 W Wilmington Street, Burgaw, NC 28425.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing during the 11 o'clock hour, one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow at Fennell Town Memorial Gardens in Rocky Point, NC, where he will be laid to rest with dignity and love.
