Judy, as she was affectionally known, was born on September 24th, 1953 in Wellsboro, PA to Florella and Gerald Gabel. She graduated from Addison High School in 1971.

Judy loved to travel, see new things, and spend time with friends and family. She was no stranger to adversity or hard work. While she made a life for herself as a hairstylist, she also often worked at a second job. Judy was devoted to her family and her clients alike. She loved to prepare great feasts, take care of her loved ones and truly found joy in giving to others. She never hesitated to open her heart and her home to everyone she came across, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Judy is survived by her mother, Florella Gabel; her husband, Timothy Dee; her children, Casey Schooley, Kimberly Schooley (Amanda Maris), Danielle Lewis, Darin Jorgensen; her seven grandchildren; and many beloved cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Gerald Gabel.

There will be a " Walk Through Only " viewing with no sitting for relatives and friends 4:00pm to 6:00pm Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Dunn Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC  28425.

Funeral Service with social distancing requirements will be held 2:00pm Monday, November 16, 2020 at The Chapel of Dunn Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC  28425
