It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of  Mother Josephine Simpson Harrison, age 92, who departed this life peacefully.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Josephine was known for her unwavering faith, kind heart, and lifelong dedication to her family and community.

A funeral service to honor her life will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Moores Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 60 Minuteman Road, Currie, NC 28435.

Viewing for relatives and friends will be held 4:00pm to 6:00pm Friday, September 5, 2025 at Dunn Funeral Home Chapel 810 West Wilmington Street Burgaw, NC 28425.
