Ms. Johnetta Denise Wilson, age 59, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025.

Johnetta will be remembered for her intelligence, caring spirit, and quick wit that brought joy to all who knew her. She dedicated much of her life to serving others through her work as a Nutrition Manager with the North Carolina Department of Corrections. Beyond her career, Johnetta found joy in spending meaningful time with her family and friends, often sharing warm conversations about food and cherished memories. She leaves to cherish her memory two beloved daughters, Shawnetta Pinckney and Alexandra Wilson. She was preceded in death by her dear daughter, Ashlee Elyce Wilson.
