Mrs. Joan Barbara Alford, age 84 of Riegelwood, NC peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on February 14, 2025 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.

Mrs. Alford is the widow of the late Kelly James Alford. Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Pamela Powell(Tyrone), Tajuanda Alford, Felicia Smith(Timothy), Kelly Alford Jr.(Michele) and a host of relatives and friends.

Home-Going celebration will take place 11:00am Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Zion Church 15956 Old Lake Road, Riegelwood, NC 28456.

Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant A.M.E. Zion Church Cemetery

All viewing will be one hour prior to the celebration of life service during the hour of 10:00am to 10:50pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Mt. Pleasant A.M.E. Zion Church and following the service.
