Mr. Jimmy L. Newkirk, Esq, born on July 19, 1949, peacefully transitioned into eternal peace at his home on September 22, 2024 with his family by his side.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Kimberly (Stacey) Newkirk; his son, Eric M. Newkirk; bonus children, Tiffani Taylor and Taryn Taylor;  grandchildren, Andre Matthew Newkirk and Erik Ray Redmond Newkirk; siblings, Richard T. Newkirk, Bonnye K. Newkirk, Floretta M. Kelly, Chiquita Y. English, and Carolyn B. McIntyre, along with a host of relatives and friends, will miss him dearly.

Celebration of Life honoring Mr. Newkirk will take place 10:00am Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Lakes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church 10420 Point Caswell Road, Willard, NC 28478.

Interment with Military Honors will convene at 2:00pm Thursday, September 26, 2024 in the Coastal Carolina Veterans Cemetery Jacksonville 110 Montford Landing Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540.
