Mr. Jimmie Lee Carr, 55, of Rocky Point, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Lakewood, Washington.
Mr. Carr was born on January 4, 1958 to Alene and the late Evander Bill Carr in Pender County. Early in life, Jimmie joined the United States Army where he honarbly served for ten years, in a number of positions.

The funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Mt. Rena Missionary Baptist Church, Rocky Point. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery, Long Creek community. The viewing will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013 at Dunn Funeral Home.
